A recruitment agency is looking for Production Operators in Barnsley with competitive pay starting at £14.11 per hour. Responsibilities include operating machinery and handling steel rebar, with training provided. Ideal candidates will have manufacturing experience and a willingness to learn new skills. Our client is currently recruiting Production Operators for their well established business based in the Barugh Green area of Barnsley.
Location: The company is based in the S75 area. Due to shifts you will either require your own transport or be able to reach the area by 6am on the morning shift.
As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for working on production machinery and handling steel rebar. In addition, your tasks will include reading drawings and operating grinders, saws, and overhead cranes. Don’t worry if you don’t have experience with all these tasks – training will be provided!
