Qualifications

• A valid HGV Class 1 licence is required.
• Overhead crane experience is desirable, but training will be provided.
• A Tugmaster licence is preferred, training will be provided if needed.
• Strong work ethic and excellent attention to safety.

Steel Operative – Scunthorpe

Shift Pattern: Rotating 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm or Nights only 10pm-6am

Pay: £15.01 per hour + shift premium

Type: Full-Time, Ongoing

Location: Scunthorpe

We are looking for a reliable Steel Operative to join our team in Scunthorpe, supporting vital operations in a busy industrial environment.

What you'll be doing

• Supporting vessel discharge operations
• Ensuring materials are prepared and ready for dispatch
• Safely delivering goods across a large industrial site
• Operating HGV Class 1 units and other heavy equipment
• Operating overhead cranes (where trained)

What you'll need

• Experience operating heavy plant/machinery in an industrial or logistics setting
• A valid HGV Class 1 licence
• Overhead crane experience is desirable, however full training will be provided for the right candidate
• A Tugmaster licence is highly desirable but training will be provided if required
• A strong work ethic, excellent attention to safety, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
