Job summary

Cornerstone Project Source Ltd is recruiting for a Temporary Steel Erector in Farthingstone, Northamptonshire. Immediate start. Daily rate £240 (CIS/LTD). On-site hours typically 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, minimum 10 hours paid.

The project involves erecting and installing steelwork for wooden huts and facility buildings, with potential for ongoing work into the new year and site-wide crane operations when required.

Qualifications

• Proven steel erection experience.
• Valid CSCS Card.
• Valid IPAF ticket for operating a cherry picker.
• Own safety harness.
• Own hand tools, including spanners and podgers.
• Own PPE, including a hard hat, high-visibility clothing and safety boots.

Responsibilities

• Working alongside the existing steel erection team.
• Building subframes and steel support frames off-position.
• Craning steel structures into position and securing them to foundations for wooden huts across the site.
• Working on larger structures as the project progresses.
• Working from cherry pickers when required.
• Installing new steelwork, with no secondary steelwork involved.
• Working predominantly at ground level during the initial stage.

Cornerstone Project Source Ltd is recruiting on behalf of a leading construction contractor for a Temporary Steel Erector role in Farthingstone, Northamptonshire.

Start Date: Immediate

Rate: £240 per day (CIS/LTD)

Hours: Minimum 10 hours paid per day; normally on site from 7:00 AM-4:00 PM

Duration: Into the new year, with the potential for ongoing work

Type of Work: Erecting and installing new structural steelwork for wooden huts and facility buildings

Parking: Free on-site parking available

Working Pattern: Monday-Friday; weekend or overtime arrangements may change

Duties:

• Working alongside the existing steel erection team.
• Building subframes and steel support frames off-position.
• Craning steel structures into position and securing them to foundations for wooden huts across the site.
• Working on larger structures, including a leisure centre and other facility buildings, as the project progresses.
• Working from cherry pickers when required.
• Installing new steelwork, with no secondary steelwork involved.
• Working predominantly at ground level during the initial stage.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proven steel erection experience.
