You'll analyse turbine data, prepare technical recommendations, and help shape maintenance strategies that keep power stations running reliably. Responsibilities

• Build and deepen your knowledge of Siemens Energy's steam turbine product line through hands‑on technical work and research
• Collaborate with internal teams and external customers to plan outages, resolve technical queries, and support maintenance activities
• Take initiative to address customer issues, developing strong working relationships and delivering effective solutions
• Document technical investigations and findings clearly to support continuous improvement
• Contribute your ideas and approaches to help drive the energy transition and support our customers' evolving needs. You'll join a supportive team of 12 based in Newcastle, dedicated to providing technical support for gas turbines, steam turbines, marine turbines, and new business fields. Qualifications

• A degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience – candidates at all experience levels are encouraged to apply
• Understanding of mechanical engineering principles and the ability to apply them to real‑world scenarios
• Strong critical thinking, adaptability, and a problem‑solving mindset
• Experience with large rotating equipment (such as steam turbines or generators) is beneficial, but not required for entry‑level roles
• High computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office; familiarity with SAP is a plus
