The University of East Anglia’s Norwich Clinical Trials Unit invites applications for a part-time Research Associate (CTU Statistician). You will work with a Senior Statistician to provide statistical oversight at all stages of grant funded projects, including writing plans, performing data analyses, and contributing to reports and papers.
A graduate-level qualification in statistics or a related field is required, with research experience and strong communication skills.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Research Associate to join the Norwich Clinical Trials Unit at the University of East Anglia, supporting the delivery of high-quality clinical statistics.
In this role you’ll work with a Senior Statistician to provide statistical oversight at all stages of grant funded projects, which includes writing plans, undertaking data analysis and contributing to statistical reports and academic papers. You’ll also undertake research, produce both submissions for new studies and grant applications, and liaise with multiple stakeholders within the School.
You will have a Graduate level qualification with significant statistical component (e.g. Medical Statistics, Statistics, Mathematics) with subject knowledge in the relevant area and some research experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities are key to success in this role.
The post is available immediately on a part-time (0.6 FTE) fixed term basis until 31 July 2028.
