Job summary

Medpace in the United Kingdom is seeking a skilled statistician/analyst to support global studies using SAS. The role requires a Masters in Medical Statistics, Statistics or Biostatistics and strong communication, with a readiness to apply innovative programming techniques.

You will review analysis plans, collaborate with statisticians and programmers, help generate derived datasets and tables, and QC outputs to high quality and timely fashion. Occasional WFH after training is offered.

Qualifications

  • Masters degree in medical statistics or related field.

  • Willingness to apply innovative programming techniques to solve critical problems.
  • Ability to adapt and respond to requests from across the business while being aware of the impact of the response.
  • SAS programming experience and/or a SAS Base Programming Certificate.

Responsibilities

  • Support analysis for global studies.
  • Review analysis plans for appropriate methods.
  • Collaborate with the Project Statistician, other Statistical Analysts, and Programmers to ensure study outputs are produced to a high quality and in a timely fashion.
  • Assist in generating specification documents for derived datasets (e.g. ADaM) and tables, listings, and figures.
  • Use efficient programming techniques to produce and/or QC derived datasets (e.g. ADaM) and tables, listings, and figures according to specifications.
