Responsibilities

• Attend planned or remedial maintenance tasks for CCTV and PA systems.
• Ensure SISS assets are maintained and faults reported.
• Utilise field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data.
• Use specialist tools to maintain systems to specification.
• Liaise with service centre for tasking and fault updates.
• Complete maintenance activities against defined schedules.

Job description

The successful Level 4 Technician will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance activities and assisting with reactive or planned maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role is to work Nights, Sundays to Thursday 10pm to 6am and cover stations in Slough, Taplow and within the M25. The successful candidate will ideally be based inside the M25.

SISS Level 4 Technician, what you'll do :

• Attending planned or remedial maintenance tasks for CCTV, PA Public Address Systems or Passenger Help Points
• Ensuring (SISS) station assets are well maintained, and station communication faults are reported and fixed
• Utilising field IT equipment to provide real time corrective, remedial or planned maintenance data
• Use specialist tools and test equipment to maintain systems to specification
• Liaison with Telent Service Centre for tasking, fault updates and completions.
• Complete maintenance activities on communications systems against the defined schedule
