Job summary

A technology services provider in the United Kingdom is seeking a Station Systems Technician Level 2 to work as a technical lead and assist with fault finding on CCTV and Public Address systems. This role involves working nights from Sunday to Thursday. Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Station Systems Technician Level 3.

  • Strong problem-solving skills in fault finding and fixing.

Station Systems Technician Level 2

When you join our Engineering Team at Telent, you'll be empowered to innovate and drive common solutions, working closely with technical experts who are proud of the impact their work makes. You’ll be working under the direction of the Duty Manager in the Remedial Team, where you will be the station systems deputy technical lead and the first point of escalation of Technicians, and be involved with fault finding, fixing fault rectifications on CCTV and Public Address systems. Working from our Pirin Court Deport, in Canning Town E16 4TL this role will cover nights, Sunday to Thursday 10pm - 6am.

What you’ll do:
  • Be an escalation point for reoccurring faults, Technicians, assisting in the implementation of investigations and fixes.
  • Be involved with fault finding, fixing fault rectifications on CCTV and Public Address systems.
  • Complete planned remedial activities on communications systems against a defined schedule.
  • Promote a positive Health and Safety culture.
  • Ability to successfully take own initiative, work under pressure and meet tight programme deadlines/scheduling and work to high standards.
Who you are:

You’ll have previous experience working as a Station Systems Technician Level 3 and looking to take that next step into a Station Systems Technician Level 2 role.

Station Systems Technician Key requirements:
  • Have experience of CCTV, PA, CIS IP Networks and ability to erect scaffold
  • Strong organisational, skills, including multi-tasking and time management
  • The job holder will be required to work nights, Sunday to Thursday 10pm to 6am from our Pirin Court Depot, in Canning Town, E16 4TL
  • IRSE License safety critical systems.
  • Full UK Driving License.
