South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue (SYFR) invites applications for the Station Manager Promotion Process 2026 (Day Duty) across South Yorkshire. The role offers progression through a funded development pathway and responsibilities across multiple teams to enhance service delivery.

The successful candidate will hold Watch Manager status, attain specific qualifications, and participate in operational assessments and leadership interviews as part of the selection process with staged dates in November

Competenze

• Substantive and competent Watch Manager in a UK Fire and Rescue Service.
• IFE Level 4 Certificate – Unit 3: Fire Service Operations and Incident Command.
• Level 3 Assessor Qualification or willing to achieve within 12 months (required for continued employment).

Mansioni

• Lead multiple teams as Station Manager within SYFR.
• Participate in funded specialist development in Fire Investigation, Accident Investigation and Hazardous Materials.
• Support delivery of leadership development and assessment processes.
