Job summary

Pareto Facilities Management Ltd. is seeking a Static Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) to deliver planned and reactive maintenance on a flagship client site in Piccadilly.

You will safeguard building services, respond to faults, and work within a supportive FM team environment. The role requires City & Guilds 2/3 in electrical discipline, 18th Edition knowledge, fault-finding across electrical and mechanical systems, and experience with HVAC and BMS controls.

Qualifications

  • City & Guilds Level 2/3 (Electrical) required or equivalent
  • 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations knowledge essential
  • Proven fault-finding across electrical and mechanical systems
  • Experience with HVAC, lighting, pumps, generators, switchgear
  • Strong understanding of Electricity at Work Regulations 1989

Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance across electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Diagnose and repair faults across building services including HVAC, lighting, pumps and generators.
  • Respond to BMS alarms and perform first-line diagnostics.
  • Complete CAFM tasks (SimPRO) with accurate updates and photos.
  • Maintain site logbooks for electrical, mechanical, water systems and H&S compliance.
  • Operate and monitor building systems with start-up/shutdown/changeover procedures.
  • Ensure work complies with Electricity at Work Regulations and safe systems of work.
  • Communicate with clients, end users, subcontractors and internal teams.
