Overview

Static Electrical Maintenance engineer - Royal Woolwich Arsenal (company van also provided) £43/45k - APPLY TODAY

My client are a mechanical and electrical engineering company who have been in operation for over 35 years providing M&E solutions to their end clients.

They now seek a static electrically biased engineer to be based at Royal Arsenal Woolwich Development.

The development is a large mixed used development where my clients look after the communal areas and plant rooms only.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out electrical repairs and installation works.
  • Carry out PPM testing on fire alarms, AOVs, and emergency lighting, as well as working alongside mechanical and AC engineers.
  • Undertake fault finding, diagnosis and repairs of electrical equipment and AOVs.
  • Be familiar with using job sheet software on a mobile device.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and communicate regularly with estate managers and residents.
  • Will be expected to carry out inspection & testing experience if applicable.
Qualifications
  • NVQ Level 3 electrical installation qualifications or equivalent.
  • Mechanical plant room experience required.
  • Experience in maintenance, fault finding, diagnosis and repairs of electrical equipment and AOVs.
  • Experience with PPM testing on fire alarms, AOVs, emergency lighting.
  • Own hand tools and voltage meter; any specialised equipment will be provided.
  • Clean driving licence advantageous.
Role details
  • Salary £42k - £45k depending on experience
  • Working hours 8am - 4pm
