Static Electrical Maintenance Engineer – Building Services Maintenance – Up to £42,000 + Overtime

We are recruiting for a Static Electrical Maintenance Engineer to work in a Service and Maintenance team based in York. You will work with fellow engineers to support them during their tasks.

The organisation has seen steady growth, doubling in size over the past few years, and has contracts signed up a full order book through to 2029.

Key duties include performing periodic preventive maintenance (PPMs), repairs and call‑outs. There is an on‑call rota across the site.

Package
  • Salary: up to £42,000 per annum
  • 40 hour week
  • 33 days holiday including bank holidays
  • On‑call duties
  • Overtime available weekdays, evenings and weekends

Requirements
  • Experience performing repairs in buildings – essential
  • Electrical background and health and safety knowledge – essential
  • CRB checked – essential
  • C&G or NVQ Level 2 or above – desirable

This role is suitable for those who have worked within building services, M&E, construction, industrial maintenance, facilities management, fire & security or hire organisations, or in related industries.
