Job summary

Procter & Gamble's Reading Plant is seeking a Start-Up and Project Delivery Leader to drive readiness for new initiatives and technologies.

You will lead equipment start-ups, plan deployments, and develop the skills of on-site teams while collaborating with technical experts to ensure successful project launches.

This role offers formal training, day-to-day mentoring, and opportunities to work on high‑impact capital projects in a global consumer goods company.

The Role

Our Start-Up and Project Delivery Leaders ensure our manufacturing operations are fully prepared to integrate new initiatives and technologies. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the readiness of our operations department to successfully receive and implement new projects. You will be instrumental in developing the skills and capabilities of our on-site teams, enhancing their expertise in successful project launches and equipment start-ups. This position requires strong leadership, a deep technical and process understanding of bringing new initiatives online, and a commitment to continuous improvement with a focus on eliminating waste and maximizing efficiency.

Daily work encompasses many of these areas:

Job Qualifications

What We Look For:

• Candidates with some experience either in a manufacturing or an engineering environment will be considered.
• University graduates who have completed a degree in one of the following Engineering fields - mechanical, electric or chemical engineering will also be considered.
• Evidence of passion and achievements, particularly leadership, in academic and/or non-academic activities.
• Strong English verbal and writing skills.
