Job summary

A local charity organization is seeking dedicated individuals for a supportive role to assist women recovering from domestic violence. The position involves empowering clients to regain confidence and independence through community connections. Candidates must have at least NVQ Level III or equivalent and two years of relevant experience. This temporary role offers 24 hours a week with a salary of £16,298.88 per annum, and requires occasional evening and weekend work.

Responsibilities
  • Ensuring that women accessing the project receive appropriate support to develop their own self-reliance and play an active role in progressing their own independence through establishing positive connections with their community.
  • Encourage women and empower them to make their own choicesEstablish and maintain good interagency working with all statutory, voluntary and community organisations.
  • Provide a follow-on service to women that is client led.Promote and develop the role in conjunction with key stakeholders.Promote the core aims, policies and procedures of Women’s Aid and to do this through the highest standards of practice.

Skills and Qualifications

Closing Date: Friday 16th January @ 4.00 p.m.Interviews will take place on Monday 26th January 2026.There will be some evening work and occasional weekend work.
