  • Ensure safe and smooth operations during production, rehearsals, and shows.
  • Train new callers and plan personnel schedules.
  • Implement creative changes in collaboration with the creative team.
  • Monitor the artistic and technical quality of the show.
  • Create rehearsal schedules and supervise rehearsals.
  • Manage budget and compliance with health and safety regulations.

Job description
Responsibilities
  • Ensuring safe and smooth operations during production, rehearsals, and shows; independently calling the performances.
  • Training new callers, instructing and familiarizing new employees, personnel planning including duty and vacation schedules.
  • Instructing scenic changes, implementing creative changes in collaboration with the creative team.
  • Monitoring the artistic and technical quality of the show in coordination with management.
  • Creating rehearsal schedules, attendance checks, maintaining show reports, supervising rehearsals.
  • Budget management, invoice control, compliance with health and safety regulations, technical and disciplinary management of the team.
Qualifications
  • Completed training, preferably in stage management.
  • Theater experience, ideally as a stage manager, assistant director, or similar.
  • Organizational skills, resilience, and reliability.
  • Knowledge of artistic and technical contexts.
  • Careful and detailed work.
  • Strong ability to concentrate and react quickly.
  • Computer skills and good knowledge of English and German.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Basic commercial knowledge.
  • Willingness to work varying hours, primarily evenings and weekends.
