Job summary

BHASVIC in Brighton and Hove is seeking a suitably qualified Media and Performing Arts Technician to support the Drama & Performing Arts department. You will work with stage lighting, lighting systems and other performing arts technology as part of the MPA Technician Team.

The role is permanent, 42 weeks per year (term time plus 16 days pro-rata) and part time at 18.5 hours per week, with working hours between 8am and 5pm Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Experience of using stage lighting, lighting systems and other performing arts related technology.

Responsibilities

• Support the Drama & Performing Arts department with lighting and related tech.
• Be part of the MPA Technician Team under the MPA Technician Manager.
