Job summary

KONE is seeking a Lift Tester to join the New Equipment and Modernisation team in the North West with occasional travel. You will test lifts to EN81 and directives, commission equipment, and document faults for actions. On-site communication with customers is essential, with support from the Supervisor.

Qualifications

• NVQ4 in Lift engineering or equivalent qualification (required or equivalent).
• Willingness to complete NVQ4 Mods module if not yet achieved.
• UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Test lift units in line with approved procedures and KONE standards (EN81).
• Commission lift equipment to agreed specifications and commissioning guidelines.
• Carry out technical assessments and document faults for corrective action.
• Act as the on-site contact, coordinating with customers and the Supervisor.
