Role Summary

Fanatics Live & Collect is building the future of live commerce for sports fans and collectors, bringing together content, community, and commerce in highly interactive digital experiences.

We're looking for a Staff Software Engineer to shape the technical strategy and architecture behind Fanatics Live's streaming experiences.

This role requires strong end-to-end engineering knowledge, with particular depth in frontend development. You'll define how we build high-performance customer experiences using React and GraphQL , while influencing the backend services, APIs and event-driven systems that power them.

As one of the senior technical leaders within a new and growing team, your focus will extend beyond coding. You'll set architectural direction, solve complex cross-team challenges and establish the engineering standards, practices and culture needed to scale successfully.

You'll remain technically close to delivery-using prototypes, design reviews and targeted implementation to validate decisions and unblock teams-while creating leverage across the wider engineering organisation.
