Job summary

Addepar is seeking a Staff Software Development Engineer to join our Custodian and CRM Integrations team. You will help build and operate automated workflows between Addepar and 3rd party systems, delivering scalable solutions and high-quality engineering processes.

You will work primarily with Java, Temporal, Apex (Salesforce language), JavaScript (Ember/LWC) and Python, collaborating with product and design to ship robust integrations. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a senior software engineer using an OO language, preferably Java.
• Proven track record of shipping complex multi-service software architecture.
• Strong sense of ownership from inception through production.
• Experience collaborating with stakeholders to deliver projects.
• Experience with cloud-based infrastructure.

The Role

We are seeking a Staff Software Development Engineer to join our Custodian and CRM Integrations Team!

The team’s mission is to enable clients and partners to integrate with Addepar. Our cross‑functional team designs, develops and operates automated workflows between Addepar and 3rd party systems. We aim to serve a variety of needs from slick no‑code UI options, to more complex workflows built on top of our APIs. Take a look at our Integration Center to see some of the existing integrations!

We’re looking for someone who will build an inclusive team culture, empower engineers to succeed and cultivate an environment that creates high-quality engineering processes and product delivery. You’ll work closely with product and design to deliver great products.

Our team works primarily with Java, making use of the Temporal durable execution engine to orchestrate our integration workflows. We also work on projects that require the use of Apex (proprietary Salesforce language), Javascript (Ember and LWC frameworks) and Python.

• Extensive experience as a senior software engineer using an object‑oriented language, preferably Java.
• Proven track record of shipping complex multi‑service software architecture.
• Strong sense of ownership — you enjoy taking ideas from inception through to production.
• Experience working with key stakeholders to deliver projects.
• Experience with cloud‑based infrastructure.
