Google Inc. is seeking software engineers to join a team focused on next-generation AI and large-scale systems. You will own outcomes, influence stakeholders, and tackle ambiguous problems across full-stack development.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Google DeepMind, translating state-of-the-art research into practical features, and delivering production-ready services at scale while advancing ML and AI capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of full-stack development with C++, Java, Kotlin and TypeScript.
• 3 years on frontend frameworks, full-stack development, or API development.
• 1 year of software design, architecture and machine learning.
• 1 year of agentic coding.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Google DeepMind to translate GenAI research assets into intuitive products.
• Architect and build entirely new products from the ground up, moving rapidly from prototypes to production-ready services.
• Design and implement agentic systems and multi-step AI prompts for open-ended scientific tasks using the latest LLM reasoning advancements.
• Establish frameworks and metrics to measure model performance, driving continuous quality improvements and model fine-tuning.
• Work closely with Product Managers and UX partners to discover user needs and iterate on features that delight the scientific community.
