Job summary

Anthropic, a public benefit corporation, is seeking a senior CI/CD engineer to join the Developer Productivity organization on the Continuous Integration team. You will design and operate highly reliable CI infrastructure powering thousands of daily builds across multiple cloud providers.

You will lead efforts in test selection, incident response automation, and observability tooling, ensuring resilience and fast feedback for hundreds of engineers shipping code safely into production.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience building and operating large-scale CI/CD systems.
• Deep experience with CI orchestration tools (Buildkite, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar).
• Experience with container orchestration at scale.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with internal partners.
• Focus on reliability and systems that fail gracefully.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with a relevant field of study.

Responsibilities

• Design and build highly reliable, scalable CI infrastructure for thousands of daily builds across multiple cloud providers.
• Develop intelligent test selection systems to reduce CI time while preserving code quality.
• Build and improve incident response automation, including cluster load shedding, automatic recovery, and observability tooling.
• Improve test infrastructure reliability through flake detection, quarantine systems, and test state management.

Salary: £57,000 - 73,000 per year

Requirements
