Dex, in partnership with clients, is hiring a Staff AI Engineer to shape how LLMs and agentic systems are applied across the product, from prototyping intelligent workflows to building natural language interfaces. You'll own end-to-end AI initiatives in a regulated domain, define playbooks, design backend AI services, and drive evaluation pipelines to ensure accuracy and safety.

Formación

• 5+ years building customer-facing products with end-to-end ownership.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, and agent frameworks.
• Production experience with RAG architectures.
• Ability to design and implement evaluation pipelines for AI models.
• Strong product instincts and ability to articulate AI decisions commercially and technically.

This isn't a research role disconnected from production. You'll be the first Staff AI Engineer, shaping how LLMs and agentic systems are applied across the product, from prototyping intelligent workflows to building natural language interfaces. Expect end-to-end ownership, defining the playbook rather than inheriting one.

The work

• Proven ability to design and implement evaluation pipelines for AI models.
• Strong product instincts combined with technical depth; you can articulate AI choices in both commercial and technical terms.
• Comfortable operating in ambiguity, experimenting quickly, and shipping iteratively in a rapidly evolving domain.
