Starling Bank is recruiting a Full Stack Engineer (ML Ops) in London, joining a leading UK digital bank focused on fast technology, fair service and honest values. This mid/senior role blends backend Java services with modern frontend work and ML-ready data tooling in a fintech context.

We offer a hybrid working model with up to two remote days per week. Expect to design REST APIs, build backend services, and craft front ends using React/Redux while deploying to AWS, contributing to a scalable,

Hybrid Working

Requirements

We have built our entire banking platform in house and mostly in Java. We are looking for people who want to work on building the tooling that is used by our engineers on a daily basis.

• Design REST apis.

Interview Process

• Stage 1 - 30 mins with one of the team
• Stage 2 - Take home challenge
• Stage 3 - 90 mins technical interview with two team members
