Band 5 £33,247 - £41,424 per annum (pro rata)

Plus Distant Islands Allowance of £1,406 (pro rata)

14.9 hours per week

Fixed Term Contract for 12 months

Job Summary

A vacancy has arisen within the NHS Western Isles Vaccination team based in Uist at the Balivanich Community Clinic. The post holder will collaborate with colleagues to ensure equity and access to care for all those eligible for vaccination across NHS Western Isles and be responsible for delivering a safe, efficient and effective vaccination service to a range of people in a variety of settings across the Western Isles.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure equity and access to care for all those eligible for vaccination across NHS Western Isles.
  • Deliver a safe, efficient and effective vaccination service to a range of people in a variety of settings across the Western Isles.
  • Be aligned to a Community Nursing Team during peak vaccination periods.
  • Register with the PVG Scheme (Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme).
  • Note: This post is not eligible for relocation expenses.
