Southend University Hospital NHS Trust is seeking a Staff Nurse to join the SEW Feering team. You will deliver high quality personalised care and support the sister/Charge Nurse in delivering safe, effective care.

Duties include admitting, transferring and discharging surgical and urology patients, completing nursing assessments, administering medications, wound and drain care, and ensuring smooth patient flow with bed management.

Responsibilities

• Admitting, transferring and discharging surgical and urology patients from Broomfield and Basildon.
• Carrying out nursing tasks including drug administration, wound care, drain care, pre- and post-operative care, personal care, pressure area care.
• Completing nursing paperwork and assessments.
• Liaising with senior staff and bed management to keep patient flow.
