We are delighted to be supporting our client, a leading private surgical hospital in Bath, in the recruitment of a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join their pre-assessment team.

Role Overview

As a Pre-Assessment Nurse, you will be responsible for carrying out comprehensive assessments and preparing patients for a range of surgical procedures. You will work closely with consultants and the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure each patient receives safe, efficient, and high-quality care throughout their surgical journey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct detailed patient assessments ahead of surgery
  • Identify and manage risks, escalate concerns as appropriate
  • Coordinate investigations and follow-up care to ensure readiness for surgery
  • Provide health promotion, education, and emotional support to patients
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to service improvement initiatives
