A healthcare provider in Ashton-under-Lyne is seeking a Staff Nurse for Paediatrics on a fixed-term contract. The role involves providing holistic family-centred care to children and young people, assessing and managing patient care within the clinical areas. Candidates should hold an NMC Registered Nurse qualification and demonstrate compassion, accountability, and respect. Band 5 - Fixed Term contract 12 months - 37.5 Hours
We are a purpose-built unit that provides both inpatient and day patient care, for children and young people up to 16 years old and support them through transition to adults. We care for a wide range of medical and surgical conditions. Our aim is for you to join us in providing the highest possible standards of holistic family centred care. The unit prides itself on working collaboratively with the MDT.
We have an ambulatory model of care within paediatrics, and we are constantly developing and improving our paediatric services to meet the needs of the area. We have a 24‑hour observation and assessment unit, and you will work in both the ward, day surgery and observation and assessment areas.
