Bolton NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Staff Nurse for the Paediatric Emergency Department, a busy, fast-paced environment delivering high-quality, patient-centred care in line with national standards for Sepsis and key performance indicators.

We offer a comprehensive induction and training programme led by practice educators, regular role-specific training days, and development pathways for clinical and leadership progression within the department.

The Paediatric Emergency Department is a very busy and fast paced environment treating patients who present with acute medical, surgical or mental health needs and also those who present with minor injury/illness. As a Staff Nurse you will be expected to provide and promote the delivery of a high quality standard of patient centred care in a supported environment whilst working within nationally agreed standards for Sepsis and key performance indicators.

We have an excellent in house induction and training programme led by our practice educators. We run regular training days relevant to role and experience utilising the National curriculum and competency framework from the RCN. We also have development packages designed towards achieving clinical and leadership skills and training needs analysis geared towards development into differing career pathways within the department.
