We are currently searching for a Registered Nurses/Recovery Department Practitioner to join our experienced team for day and night rotation to ensure that an individual programme of care is planned, implemented and evaluated for each patient within own sphere of responsibility and to work as part of the multi-disciplinary team ensuring the delivery of the highest standard of care to the patients.

You must be a qualified, experienced RN/ODP preferably within an acute setting although this is not essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor acutely ill patients (adults and children) following surgery with conditions varying from routine post‑op level to high dependency level.
  • Support the whole critical care directorate as required.
  • Ensure that an individual programme of care is planned, implemented and evaluated for each patient within own sphere of responsibility.
  • Work as part of the multidisciplinary team ensuring the delivery of a high standard of care to the patients.
  • Act as team leader including taking charge of the recovery in the absence of the Recovery Manager / Deputy Recovery Manager.
  • Participate in all relevant aspects of the governance process.
  • Adhere to the NMC code of Professional Conduct at all times and ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
