The ideal candidate will have a background in respiratory or intensive care nursing and demonstrate strong communication skills. This part-time role will involve providing patient care, performing clinical tasks, and working with a multi-disciplinary team. The position is ideal for motivated individuals keen to develop their clinical skills in support of patients requiring ventilatory care.
The North West Ventilation Unit (NWVU) provides ventilatory support (non‑invasive & mechanical) to patients with neuromuscular, respiratory and neurological conditions. It is a 12‑bed unit with a multi‑disciplinary team delivering specialist care.

We are seeking motivated, dynamic staff with an interest or background in respiratory/intensive care and/or general medicine. Candidates must demonstrate high quality compassionate care and be keen to develop clinical skills such as taking blood gases, venepuncture, cannulation, tracheostomy management and supporting patients on non‑invasive ventilation across levels 1, 2 and 3.
