Role Overview

Are you a caring and compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurse or are just about to qualify and are looking for a fresh or new opportunity? Why not come and work for CWP – we may have just the role for you.

We have vacancies for permanent, full and part-time opportunities for Staff Nurses within our bed-based services at Springview, Wirral on Brackendale, Brooklands and Riverwood wards.

Bed-based services comprise wards that cater for acute admissions, psychiatric intensive care, eating disorder inpatient services and rehabilitation inpatient services. You would be required to work on a rotational shift basis, which includes days and nights.

You will be part of a supportive multi-disciplinary team and have an ethos of collaborative working between individual service users, carers and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities & Objectives

We are looking for motivated nurses to join our team. You should possess commitment to team working and innovative delivery of excellent standards of care. You will be able to demonstrate a real enthusiasm for mental health nursing, as well as a desire for on-going professional development.

You will receive excellent training and opportunities for development, clinical supervision and appraisal. We also offer our staff training packages, development and leadership pathways and a comprehensive preceptorship programme for those who are newly qualified.

Cheshire and Wirral Partnership (CWP) provides health and care services for a population of over one million people, including mental health, learning disability, community physical health and all-age disability care, as well as the provision of three GP surgeries in Cheshire.

We employ around 4,500 staff across 73 sites and have services across Wirral and Cheshire, as well as Trafford, Warrington, Bolton, Halton and Liverpool. We also provide specialist services for the North West as a whole.

DBS Check
