Main Duties

We are pleased to advertise a range of clinical and non‑clinical roles as part of the new build of a £30 million Emergency Department featuring a 6‑bed resus area, Rapid Assessment Triage and ambulance handover area, 35 clinical rooms including a paediatric area, 2 triage rooms and 6 dedicated Urgent Care Service rooms. The department offers state‑of‑the‑art patient and staff facilities and a comprehensive career development pathway with training in RCN Level 1 & 2, NMTNG Level 1 & 2, TILS, TNCC, EPALS, ALS, IRMER, plus courses for autonomous practitioners.

Essential
  • Registered Nurse, in appropriate branch
  • Minimum 18 months experience as a Registered Nurse
  • Minimum 18 months post‑registration experience in the relevant specialty
Desirable
  • Diploma in Nursing
  • Qualified mentor (ENB 998 or equivalent) or working towards one
  • Evidence of post–registration development in the relevant specialty
  • Qualified NVQ Assessor (A1 or equivalent) or working towards one
  • Management qualification
  • Experience of being in charge of a shift
  • Training in handling and administration of blood
  • Training/experience as Clinical Supervisor
