Job summary

Nuffield Health Exeter Hospital invites applications for a bank staff nurse on the elective surgical ward. The role covers ad hoc shifts rather than a fixed contract, with part-time hours that include weekends.

You will work within a consultant-led ward, alongside a matron-led team and colleagues from other departments to maintain continuous patient care. Applicants must be NMC registered and have post-registration experience.

Qualifications

• Registered with the appropriate governing body, including NMC.
• Post-registration experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care that sets the standard on the elective surgical ward.
• Attend closely to each patient's individual needs.
• Work alongside experienced clinical staff on a consultant-led ward.
• Gain experience of new practices, equipment and facilities.
• Work with practitioners in other departments to maintain continuity of care.
