Overview

With a high volume and fast turnover of patients undergoing cardiac and thoracic day case investigations and procedures, a year's secondment on the Nurse led day ward could be the challenge you are looking for. We are open Monday to Friday, 06:45-20:00.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for their procedures.
  • Perform venepuncture and 12‑lead ECGs.
  • Facilitate an enhanced recovery and nurse‑led discharge.
  • Manage the discharge lounge to facilitate safe discharge across the hospital.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Team player, well organised, adaptable to ever‑changing priorities.
  • Ability to multitask and manage infection control risks effectively.
  • Strong communication and teamwork, with a focus on patient experience.
