We admit patients from the Emergency Department and after initial assessment by our fantastic team of Acute Physicians, they may be referred for specialist treatments and / or care in other wards. AMU is a fantastic unit to be able to gain a broad range of experience ; to either persue a career in acute medical nursing or to provide you with the knowledge to want to learn more about other specialist areas of nursing.
To work as the registered nurse in the delivery of direct and indirect patient care.
