Registered Nurse – Ward 24

Opportunity has arisen for a registered nurse to join the Ward 24 nursing team. Ward 24 is a 23‑bed general medicine ward. Applications are welcomed from individuals who want to be part of a team delivering high standards of patient care. Newly qualified nurses are encouraged to apply and a full preceptorship programme will be offered.

Responsibilities
  • Assess, care plan, deliver and evaluate nursing care to patient teams following policies and procedures to ensure safe, effective care is delivered.
  • Undertake risk assessments and make necessary adjustments to reduce harm to patients in hospital.
  • Provide supervision and support to colleagues and student nurses.
  • Ensure evidence‑based practice to provide high‑quality care.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Registered Nurse (RN) with current registration to practice.
  • Desire to work in a fast‑paced general medicine ward.
  • Commitment to delivering high standards of patient care.
