We are currently recruiting a Band 5 Nurse, 23 hours a week, to be part of our team at Evesham Community Hospital, which is a 50 bedded stroke and general rehabilitation unit. The nursing staff work alongside the therapy team and adopt a multidisciplinary team approach to providing rehab to the patients.
We require an innovative, enthusiastic, motivated individual interested in all areas of rehab. You will be required to plan, implement, evaluate and take responsibility for the nursing care of the ward patients on a daily basis. You will be expected to facilitate and support the patient and their families throughout their pathway from admission to discharge.

Emphasis is to reduce length of stay whilst ensuring excellent care which is safe, effective, personalised and compassionate and to the standards you would expect for your family and friends.
As a Staff Nurse you will be responsible for providing care to people admitted to our wards for rehabilitation. We work closely as a multi‑disciplinary team. Our focus is promoting the comfort and wellbeing of patients, enabling them to live as independently as possible. Evesham is a friendly team to work with. As a team we encourage ongoing learning and development through reflection and clinical supervision which we try and embed in our daily practice. Our nurses are required to facilitate the day to day running of the ward, administering medications, working alongside all members of the MDT as well as patients, their families and carers to provide 24/7 rehabilitation to enable the highest level of independence and quality of life. Our nurses are required to attend meetings as needed such as MDT and CHC or Discharge Planning.
