We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic nurse with a passion for cardiology to join our committed team on the Acute Cardiac Unit in the Specialist Medicine Division.

ACU is a 27‑bedded Cardiac Unit. If you are successful you will work within a specialised area, providing high‑quality care to patients with a variety of cardiac conditions including heart failure, ischaemic heart disease, myocardial infarction, valve disease and endocarditis. Working within this specialty you will be expected to take on extended roles associated with the specialism.

The ward is supported by an enthusiastic and established multidisciplinary team. We are seeking a dynamic and motivated nurse who is an enthusiastic team player.   • To practice in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery (NMC) code of conduct.

  • Experience working in an acute hospital setting or the ability to utilise pre‑registration experience to demonstrate an understanding of the relevant settings.
