Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Staff ML Engineer to advance ML tooling and developer experiences on our architecture. You will combine software engineering with model optimisation and deployment to simplify AI development for our platform developers.

You will lead across ML frameworks and hardware, shaping the tooling roadmap, and delivering production-grade analysis and optimisations for edge developers via web services and desktop apps. Please attach a covering letter.

Qualifications

• Understanding of neural-network architecture and model execution.
• Experience with hardware-aware optimization (quantisation, graph optimization).
• Experience across ML frameworks and runtimes (PyTorch, ONNX, TF, OpenVINO).
• Experience profiling ML workloads (latency, memory, accuracy trade-offs).
• Passion for building high-quality developer tools and intuitive workflows.

Responsibilities

• Define and deliver production-grade model analysis and optimization tooling.
• Provide technical leadership in ML tooling and roadmap.
• Collaborate across ML frameworks, runtimes and hardware to inform UX.
• Work with distributed teams to ensure tooling meets developer needs.
• Ensure engineering quality via testing, CI, and feedback loops.
