Are you passionate about improving staff experience and wellbeing? NSFT is seeking a Staff Experience and Engagement Advisor to support the delivery of inclusive, responsive and high-quality engagement and wellbeing activities across the Trust. This is a proactive role where you'll help ensure staff voice is consistently gathered, meaningfully responded to, and translated into improvements in culture, wellbeing and inclusion.

As a Staff Experience and Engagement Advisor, you will:

  • Coordinate the local implementation of the NHS Staff Survey, pulse checks, listening sessions and wellbeing initiatives.
  • Support the analysis and presentation of survey data, helping to identify themes and draft summaries for reports and presentations.
  • Promote and support access to the Trust’s wellbeing resources, including occupational health, mental health, financial wellbeing, menopause support and physical activity offers.
  • Draft and edit engaging communications, including newsletters, intranet content, posters and staff updates, using accessible and inclusive language.
  • Assist teams and departments in developing local action plans in response to survey results or engagement feedback, tracking delivery and identifying barriers.
  • Build effective relationships with staff networks, engagement champions, HR colleagues and operational leaders.
  • Act as a point of contact for staff queries about surveys, wellbeing or engagement, offering helpful, informed and compassionate responses.

  • Experience coordinating projects, communications or engagement activities in a complex organisation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce accessible materials and inclusive communications.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with confidence using Microsoft Office applications and digital survey tools.
