Job summary

Wolt is looking for a Staff Engineer to drive the technical direction of our AdTech and Promotions platforms, designing scalable, reliable, high-performing systems with end-to-end ownership.

You’ll mentor engineers, align with product and data stakeholders across Europe and the US, and help build the next generation of advertising tools that directly impact revenue and advertiser success.

Qualifications

• Proven track record designing and scaling large distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of architecture, scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Experience with data-intensive real-time systems.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive technical vision and architecture for AdTech platforms.
• Provide technical leadership across multiple teams and projects.
• Develop backend services, data pipelines, and advertiser tools.
• Ensure observability, reliability, and incident readiness for revenue-critical systems.
