A leading medical technology company in Plymouth seeks a Staff Engineer to lead Assembly & Packaging Equipment Specifications. In this role, you will manage the full lifecycle of equipment, ensuring compliance and performance goals while providing expert engineering guidance. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and 12+ years of experience in automated manufacturing. This position offers a salary range of £65,000 - £75,000 plus bonus, with a focus on on-site collaboration.
As the Staff Engineer, you will lead Assembly & Packaging Equipment Specifications through Validation for BD Life Sciences, ensuring equipment design and execution meet cost and performance goals.
In this role you will provide expert engineering guidance and mentorship while managing the full lifecycle of both refurbished and new equipment, from specification and sourcing to build and validation across single stations to full assembly lines.
