Ashby is seeking a Design Engineer who can both design and code, shaping the UI/UX of a powerful product used by hundreds of users and major customers. You will build and evolve our in-house design system while collaborating with Product Engineers to deliver polished interfaces.

You’ll work on complex problems, ship fast with user feedback, and own features end-to-end in a remote, high-ownership culture. This role blends design system work with engineering execution.

Qualifications

• Role requires both design and engineering skills.
• Experience shipping features to hundreds of users is expected.

Responsibilities

• Redesigned mobile web app by talking with customers, wireframing flows, implementing design system, and turning wireframes into UI.
• Built flexible components in design system enabling consistent setup wizards across the product.
• Helped a Product Engineer improve information hierarchy for easier parsing of candidate assessments.
