Job summary

Reflection, a research lab building open models, seeks a data engineer to power our research, training, and production environments. You will design reliable ingestion and orchestration patterns for batch and streaming workloads, and develop storage and compute foundations for reproducible experimentation.

You will own data quality and governance standards, helping create a unified data layer to support model development across teams. Strong production-grade pipelines experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong data engineering background with experience shipping production-grade pipelines at scale.
• Experience designing and owning end-to-end data systems handling large-scale batch and streaming workloads.
• Comfortable debugging complex pipeline failures, optimizing for cost and performance, and maintaining data quality.

Responsibilities
