FACEIT is seeking a Staff Software Engineer who will act as an architect, not just a coder, to lead the architectural overhaul of our core matchmaking system.

You'll work at scale, processing millions of matches monthly for a global gaming audience. Expect to shape interfaces, build robust APIs and distributed services using Golang, GCP, and Kubernetes while mentoring fellow engineers.

Qualifications

• Proven backend architect with experience designing and deploying microservices.
• Experience re-architecting legacy systems to distributed architectures.
• Strong knowledge of Go and API design.
• Experience scaling systems to millions of users.
• Mentor peers and drive technical standards.

Responsibilities
