Job summary

CleanEvent Services Ltd in Sunderland is looking for a Cleaning Operative to join the stadium cleaning team. You will help maintain cleanliness and hygiene across designated areas to ensure a safe, presentable venue for guests and clients.

The role is 40 hours per week with an immediate start, pattern of 5 days out of 7 including weekends and event days as required. A DBS check is part of the pre-employment process, and you will report to the Cleaning Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions.
• Reliable, punctual and flexible approach to work.
• Willingness to work across stadium areas and cleaning duties.
• Commitment to high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and safety.
• Basic English communication skills.
• Willingness to complete a DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Carry out a range of cleaning tasks including rubbish collection, toilet cleaning, floor care and window cleaning.
• Operate handheld cleaning equipment and machinery such as vacuums and carpet extractors.
• Use cleaning chemicals safely and store equipment securely.
• Report cleaning and maintenance issues to the Area Supervisor.
• Follow site safety regulations and company policies.
• Attend meetings and complete required training as directed.
