Job summary

Convatec is expanding its stability testing capabilities at the Deeside site, contributing to the Manchester facility as a future R&D hub. You will analyse stability data, draft protocols, and support audits within a laboratory environment, ensuring compliance with ISO13485/ISO9001 and GLP/GMP procedures.

Based in the UK, the role involves collaborating with senior scientists, maintaining equipment, and contributing to product shelf-life studies across medical devices and skincare products.

Qualifications

  • Preferably 1–2 years' experience in Medical Device/Pharmaceutical R&D/product development.
  • Ability to follow stability study protocols, SOPs, OCIs and TDs.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel).
  • Understanding of FDA and European Regulations (ICH), Quality Systems and GMP Guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Perform physical and analytical stability testing on medical devices and skin care products.
  • Analyse, document, interpret and report stability data per GMP/GLP.
  • Support maintenance, calibration, and updating quality records for stability equipment.
  • Draft stability documentation such as protocols and reports; prepare Change Control Records and Non-Conformances.
  • Assist on-site maintenance, service and calibration by external vendors and support audits.
