St Georges Hill Golf Club has experienced significant growth, both in terms of revenue and its reputation, over the past few years and, as a result, is looking to re‑organise its hospitality operations team. Timberlake Golf has been retained by the Club to search for a Deputy House Manager & a Front‑of‑House Supervisor to deliver outstanding service to both members and guests and to enhance and uphold its position as a World Top‑100 golf club.

Set within 300 acres of picturesque Surrey heathland, St Georges Hill Golf Club is regarded as one of the most beautiful and prestigious golfing venues in the world. The club combines용 rich heritage with a modern commitment to excellence, offering an exceptional environment for both golfers and staff.

The successful candidates will showcase clear operational experience as they lead the front‑of‑house team and support the House Manager in delivering the Ideally, this role requires exceptional service standards, excellent attention to detail, and strong operational capability. F & B turnover at St Georges Hill is over GBP 1.3 million, with events arranged almost daily throughout the season besonder These roles will be demanding, but also rewarding, as the successful candidates will be given the opportunity to learn, grow, embark on education pathways and become part of the fabric of St Georges Hill Golf Club.

Key Responsibilities
  • Primary Focus: To support the House Manager in delivering all clubhouse operations, taking the lead for events, groups, societies and training.
  • Maintain exceptional hospitality standards and an outstanding member experience.
  • Lead and manage a team of up to 16 staff members.
  • Deliver staff training and ensure full departmental Health & Safety compliance.
  • Analyse sales trends and negotiate competitive offers with suppliers.
  • Act as a keyholder, responsible for opening and closing the clubhouse.
  • Liaise with society and corporate organisers to ensure smooth running of their day.
  • Oversee stocktaking, inventory control and cost management.
  • Deputise for the House Manager in their absence.
What We Are Looking For
  • Proven management experience in hospitality or house operations, ideally in a members club.
  • Professional qualifications from HGCMA or CMAE, or similar, are desirable.
  • Strong leadership, communication and team‑development skills.
  • A proactive approach and ability to work collaboratively across all departments.
  • A passion for delivering warm, professional and consistent service.
  • Flexibility in your approach to work in terms of both hours and what is asked of you.
