JOBS 925 is seeking an Early Years Practitioner to work in partnership with the Room Leader, Deputy and staff, following CMDN policies in line with the Children’s Act, safeguarding, health and safety legislation and the Equalities Act (2010).

You will support Montessori practice throughout the day, maintain confidentiality, and ensure the room meets EYFS requirements with up-to-date observations, planning and assessments, story books and communication books.

• Support Montessori practice.

Responsabilités

• Provide a positive practice role model to all staff to ensure Crossharbour routines and procedures are in place.
• Support room leader with implementation of the above.
• Support room leader to keep the room up to date with observations, planning and assessments, story books and communication books.
• Ensure that practice and provision meets the requirements of the EYFS.
• Share with room Leader (or Deputy/Manager) daily any concerns, updates or information.
• Maintain effective methods of communication with children, staff, parents and carers.
• Attend meetings as and when required.
• Maintain open and positive working relationships with staff.
• Oversee: Medication – administering and paperwork; daily paperwork including Risk Assessments, Checks, Accident/Incident forms, signing in sheets, food/sleep/nappy charts, room checklist.
• Ensure the room is set up to include continuous provision as well as planned activities.
• Any other duties appropriate to the post as directed by the Room Leader/Deputy and Manager.

Key tasks

• Working alongside the room leader to oversee :
  • Medication – administering and paperwork
  • Daily paperwork is complete : Risk Assessments, Checks, Accident/Incident forms, signing in sheets, food/sleep/nappy charts, room checklist
• Making sure that the room is set up to include continuous provision as well as planned activities.
