Job summary

JLA Resourcing Ltd is recruiting an Infrastructure Engineer for a defence and government tech outfit in London. The role is hybrid with on-site attendance, offering £90,000-£105,000 plus equity for candidates with active UK SC clearance.

You will work across software and infrastructure, building scalable production environments, tooling in Kubernetes and AWS, and driving automation to reduce manual toil. The position suits engineers with software engineering foundations and a passion for robust

Qualifications

Active UK SC clearance is a key requirement.
1-3+ years in SRE, infrastructure, platform or software engineering.
Computer Science degree or equivalent technical background.
Experience with AWS and Kubernetes in production.
Ability to design scalable, reliable systems and contribute to architecture.
Hybrid London-based role with on-site attendance.

Responsibilities

Build, operate and improve large-scale, highly available production environments.
Develop code and automation to reduce manual toil.
Work with Kubernetes and AWS to scale systems.
Influence infrastructure architecture and designs.
Handle on-call rotations and incident response.
Collaborate with software engineers and customer teams.
